CSA

I have signed up for a CSA (Community Sustained Agriculture) share and I can’t wait.  Starting next week I will get a weekly basket of organic fruits and vegetables.  This should really help me keep on track and eat all of my fruits and veggies, while keeping things interesting.  You never know what you’re going to get, so it’s like Christmas every week.

On Track

I am finally feeling like I’m getting things together.  My eating has been great and my exercise has been good too.  I am wearing jeans that I haven’t fit into since pre-pregnancy and I must admit that it feels great.

Holiday Weekend

The holiday weekend is always difficult for me.  There is always an overabundance of food and drink.  This weekend I did fairly well.  I indulged a bit, but didn’t overdo it.  Hopefully the scale will be on my side this weigh-in.

Plugging Away

Moving Along

I am not crushing this diet thing, but I am doing alright.  I keep losing just a little bit at a time and I think that is going to work out just fine for me.  I am down a size in my pants and I’m feeling more positive about things.  It’s a marathon not a spring…right?

Finally

Today was the day.  I finally made it to the gym.  I thought it would be more difficult, but it felt right.  I walked 3.1 miles as my goal is to run a 5K.  It took the better part of an hour, but I did it.  I feel like things are looking up for me.  I’m feeling inspired and ready to lose this weight.  Today is the beginning of something very good for me.  I can just feel it.

Stress

I have been feeling a little more stress than I typically do and that is actually helping my situation a bit.  I’m usually a stress eater, but recently haven’t had my usual appetite.  But, it’s actually working to my advantage for the time being.  Don’t think it’s the healthiest way to do things, but maybe it’s the kick start I needed.
